DEAR DOCTORS

During my 20 years in chiropractic practice, I had continuing difficulty finding massage therapists to work with on a consistent basis. The barriers I kept running into were the same:

• With a full patient load of only 20 hours per week, the therapists were inaccessible.
• The therapists were uncomfortable with the intricacies of insurance billing, requiring their patients to pay out-of-pocket.
• The therapists worked in another type of office, making it uncomfortable for the patient.
• The therapists did not maintain good SOAP notes, and could not supply progress reports.

We have solved these problems, and have opened the Massage Center of Bellevue. This is a centrally located massage only facility. We have experienced, talented massage therapists on staff who can deliver a wide variety of myofascial treatments, with the proper documentation. We will directly bill L&I, PI carriers, and some commercial carriers. We will bill out-of network insurance carriers when available. We will always verify benefits before delivering treatment.
